Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, State Certified Teacher, Department of Early Learning Trainer and Licensed Minister. Her undergraduate work in Education and Church Ministries was completed at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. She studied and taught Montessori Education as part of her post graduate work. Her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology was completed at Argosy University in Seattle. And her ministers credential is with the Assemblies of God.
Her “rubber meets the road” approach to training and therapy is informed by her personal life. She is the proud mother of adopted, biological, and foster children and the aunt of a profoundly autistic niece. These relationships have schooled her in practically and functionally living with issues like ADHD, anxiety, autism, disrupted attachments, depression, and self harm.
Jennifer personally operates from a Christian worldview while allowing clients the lead in deciding the role faith and spirituality play in their therapeutic process.
When helping families with special needs she draws from her training and experience as a therapist on the Early STAART project at the University of Washington Autism Center where she learned to implement naturalistic behavioral therapy.
